Group Visits

I'm interested in bringing a large group to you. How many bikes can you hire out at a time?

We are happy to cater for large parties up to 80. Please contact the centre you wish to visit to discuss your requirements and we will be able to advise you further.

I want to bring a group to you, do we have to pay on the day or can you invoice us?

We invoice groups in advance. Once payment by bank transfer or by paypal are received your booking is confirmed.

Are you open all year?

We are open every day for advanced and pre paid bookings

Do you have maps of the trail?

We send a link to you of the Sustrans site which shows the Coastal Cycle Paths between Talacre & Conwy.

Do you deliver bikes?

We deliver to you at the Hotel, B&B, Holiday Home or Holiday Park on two or more bikes hired, by pre arrangement only.

Can I do a one-way hire?

We do offer this facility but it would be subject to distance, collection and delivery times. This will be at extra cost to the hire. We reserve the right to refuse this if it is to onerous to the business

What happens if I am late returning my bike?

We hope that you will return your cycles to us on time, however if something should happen and you are running late we may retain part or the full deposit you left when hiring the cycles.

We do ask that wherever possible you try to telephone and speak to the staff to let then know you will be late.  We find that Text messages or e-mails can be missed so it is not deemed as a suitable means to contact us if you are going to be late.

What happens if I damage my bike or have my bike stolen?

Depending on the level of damage sustained to the bicycle, we will keep part or all of the deposit you leave when hiring the cycles and additional reasonable credit/ debit card charges may be incurred.

You are advised in the respect of total  loss or damage you are responsible for the value placed on the equipment by Buster’s cycles:

Standard Mountain or Hybrid Bike value £400.00 each or 80% of new  equivalent replacement RRP cost

E-Bike £900.00 each or 80% of new equivalent replacement RRP cost.

High value cycles will be charged at 80% of new equivalent replacement RRP cost.

Do you charge for car parking?

No: You are free to park subject to the requirements on park. There is additional parking close by (toilet facilities locally  subject to open time restrictions)

Can I get there by public transport?

It is possible to reach the centres by public transport, however it can be limited at times and in some locations.

Do I have to wear a helmet?

Helmets are available free of charge to customers who hire a bike from us. We strongly recommend that everybody wears one. We have a variety of sizes available from toddler up to large adult but we cannot guarantee that the size will be available on the day.

Can you tell me about when you sell your bikes?

We sell new and ex hire adult and child cycles. All of our ex hire cycles are “M” checked before they leave us, so apart from normal use & marking on the frame and wheels you would be purchasing a used bike with some wear and tear. We recommend you test them before committing to purchase.

What should I wear?

Comfy trousers such as tracksuit bottoms are better than jeans. If the weather is inclement, windproof as well as waterproof clothing is best and gloves are must. In terms of footwear, trainers or shoes with good grip are the most comfortable for safe cycling. When cycling on sunny days, please don’t forget your sunscreen.

Do you repair cycles?

No sorry, we prefer to spend the time maintaining our own bikes and giving you a great day out!

What should you do if you need to cancel your booking?

In the event that you need to cancel your booking our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Up to 2 weeks before the event or hire date – 5% administration charge.
  • Up to 1 week before the event or hire date – 20% of the value of the hire.
  • Up to 3 days before the event  or hire date – 50% of the value of the hire.
  • 1 day before the event – 75% of the value of the hire.
  • Day of event. – Full charge will be taken.
