Getting ready for your holidays?
North Wales is really spoiled for choice when it comes to traffic free coastal routes. Two Sustrans projects in Rhyl and Conwy have provided crucial links to connect the dots on Route 5, enabling cyclists to pick and choose as they like. From Prestatyn to Rhyl , Rhos-on-Sea to Pensarn or down along the Menai Strait from Caernarfon to Y Felinheli on the Lon Las Menai.
Whichever coastal path you choose, you can be assured of magnificent views and a warm welcome from charming seaside resorts like Colwyn Bay and Llandudno. Where to go:
As a suggestion why not choose Llanddudno as your start point and strike out on your adventures.. Objective = More Smiles Per Mile.
We have 10 Pick up points along the North Wales Coast (check out the Map) Plus we deliver to the Hotels, B&B, Holiday Homes and Holiday Parks.
You can meet us as an example just off the promenade in Llandudno town centre.
You can chose to ride our Standard Hybrid or MTN Bikes or one of our electric bike allowing visitors to experience Llandudno’s Victorian heritage and the area’s dramatic coastline with ease on two wheels.
A power assisted bike ride around the stunning Great Orme is exhilarating and inspirational!
Head off on an electric adventure and find your Smile it’s Electric 🙂
If you prefer to cycle under your own steam we have smart, easy to ride town bikes & Mtb’s with smoother tyres perfect for cruising the promenade and lightweight, comfortable hybrid bikes with plenty of gears for more adventurous rides.
All bikes are available for full day hires (or longer if required) and come with helmets and locks.
Cycling is great fun! Riding an electric bike is even better!
Our electric bikes with either ‘step-through’ or ‘cross bar’ frame provide a high quality and comfortable experience for people trying an electric bike for the first time.
The bikes operate and look just like a conventional bike – suspension forks, 6 – 8 speed gears, and a kick stand some are fitted with lights & mudguards. The difference is the electric power!
The power assisted front wheel motor operates in three modes: eco, normal and hill climb! Used with the gears the bike can be cycled with ease on the flat or around hilly terrain.
Being able to start off steadily and having that extra bit of push you need to get you up hills really boosts your confidence.
Importantly your nett result is that your bike ride is so much more enjoyable, more relaxing, and you still get the benefits of having done some exercise.
